Making Flowers from Metal

A couple of weekends ago I went to an Art and Music Festival.  A girl was selling metal flowers.  I have made them before but not like this.  I bought hers and decided I could do this with my Big Shot.  I collect costume jewelry, especially clip on earrings.  Decided to use some of them as the centers of the flowers!  This is the Fun Flowers Die.
Yes it cuts Metal!  This is Roof flashing.  I sanded it with Stampin' Up's  Sanding Blocks
These sanding blocks are the best out there.  Then I used our sponges and Ink and laid in some color.  I used Midnight Muse!

I'm hoping to do a video on this.  As you have seen I am testing the waters with videos,  I'm really new and raw at this.  Let me know if you've watched them and if you think I should keep keepin on.
Thanks for stoppin by.

Lattice Thank YOU!

Wanted to share this card with you that we did at our card class this month.  Very simple and and easy.  The Lattice die used with the big shot.
This image is sometimes hard to adhear so use the multi purpose adhesive sheets
Do for your paper projects what the Big Shot Fabric Adhesive Roll does for our new fabric—turn your Big Shot die cuts into stickers! Simply apply an adhesive sheet to your card stock, Designer Series paper, or other base material, crank through the Big Shot machine, and peel the backing paper off. Apply your die cut to any kind of project for quick and super easy accents.
■ 12 adhesive sheets, 12" x 12"
■ Add adhesive to die cuts. Simply apply card stock or DSP to the adhesive sheet, run through the Big Shot, peel off backing paper and adhere.
■ Not washable
■ Adheres in an instant with no lifting edges
This will be retiring from SU's catalog at the end of this month so if you want some order NOW
Have fun Stamping today!

Woo Hoo! Birthday Card

I can't get enough of the single stamp "Woo Hoo!"  and I love to color so this one is right up my alley!  The good news for those who don't like to color is there really is not that much coloring!
Isn't  it cute!  We did stamp it and cut around tall those scallop edges, but that's not something you'd have to do.  But if you know me at all I also love to cut things!!  If you don't love it, it may be that you don't own a good pair of paper cutting scissors, and I'd like to recommend our Paper Snips!
These small, thin-bladed scissors are perfect for all your paper trimming needs. They are great for snipping that little bits of paper or when trimming ribbon. Thin stainless steel blades for perfect cutting in even the tiniest areas.

■ Precision-ground tips allow for cutting all the way to the end of the blades
■ Protective shield (safety cover)
■ Comfort-grip handle for ease in cutting
■ Exclusive to Stampin’ Up!
■ 2-1/2" blade

Now for the what I used to color this.  Stampin' Up's! Markers are the BEST!  I used Pool Party, Lucky Lime Aid, and Crumb Cake.  Now you might be wondering how I got that darker color for the icing... well that is three coats of maker.  I colored the whole cake with crumb cake Marker and then went over the icing two more times... That way you get more color tones out of one marker!  Markers are sold some individuality in color Collections and as a Big Set.  If you are like me you will want them ALL!
Thanks for stopping by and crafting with me.If you'd like to join in on a class or have other questions about this project contact me

Creped Filter Paper Flowers

This was so much fun I had to share it with YOU
Have you noticed the Creped Filter Paper that is in the Spring catalog?  You get a total of 12 sheets 4 rectangles (each 6:x12) and 8 circles 6" in diam.  The look of tissue paper with the strength of card stock!  It's a bargain!  $2.95!  Last night I decided to try a flower made like you'd make a pom pom.

This is the paper, I felt I needed to tell you that, cause It looks like "Nothing"
I according folded the rectangles (all 4 sheets)  and used our white baker's twine to tie in the center  another bargain! 25 yards for $2.95
This one I did not round the corners, but in the bottom pic I did round the edges and it looks better and more scalloped.  I started gently separating the 4 layers
 then did the other side.
 Really fun!!
then I sort of shaped it with my hands, even though it didnt' seem to need it but I couldn't help touching it!
The one on your right is the one that I rounded the edges before I "fluffed" it up, the one on the left is just as it was.  Both pretty, but in making more in the future, I will round the edges.  I just used scissors to do that.  NOW to step them up, You can stamp color and images on the sheets before you fold it and get Pretty colored flowers.  Order your supplies and get to making some fun flowers.
Thanks for Crafting with me today!

Scribble Art

I first saw this from my friend Deb Valder's youtube channel.  It is just as easy as she said it was, and ending up being the one that most marked as their favorite from Stamp Camp.  I took Deb's a step further and used water color paper.  This way when you scribble with your markers, you can move the color around (or wash) with your Aqua painter to add a different look.  If you use SU's Whisper White card stock, you still get a great look but more of a "scribble".  Either way you will want to use Black Stazon Ink.  It is water proof and won't wash your image in to your color.  You must try this!  When was the last time you got to scribble and someone said OH how Cute... I think I was probably 2 or 3 years old...lol
Here is the rest of what I used to create this card.

Therapy Thursday Ends

All good things have to come to an end...But It doesn't mean we all won't be stamping together in the future.  I have truly enjoyed the Therapy Thursday once a month Club
I learned a lot by researching what to teach
I would have never known or got to know any of these girls if it were not for Stamping!
Kris (on the left)  Has moved to FL.  It was a surprise, A NICE Surprise when she walked in tonight!
There were two more in this Group that were not in attendance tonight!  I think the class is ready for Graduation.
I'll post tomorrow what we made
New Club "Eat, Learn, Stamp" Starting in June.  There are still a few open spots.  It's once a month and a chance to Eat, Learn, and Stamp with new and old friends.  Contact me if you are interested in being a part of this kind of FUN!

The Gathering Place/ Fiji

The Gathering Place.  A Place to gather!  And that is what we did.  Each morning we'd get there soon as they opened, 9am Fiji Time.  There were always prize for everyone.

This was a toughie for me cause in the 9 years I have been involved it has been amazing to say the least.  I have learned so much about stamping.  Met people I would have NEVER met.  Gone places I would have never been able to go (and for Free!)  I have learned to talk in front of people and just how to be me and have some fun!
I could go on, but I'm sure you'd get bored with me quickly!
