Arrived in St George, Utah for Founders'

Wanted to share with you girls part of the experience of being a part of Founder's Circle In St George, Utah.  Arrived safely to the Court Yard Marriott and this is what was there to welcome us.  After getting to our room they had lunch waiting for us and when we checked in, we were all given a colored scarf.  There were 7 other scarf's of our color we had to find and when we got our group of 8 together we checked in to the hospitality room where we found out that this is who we'd be eating dinner with. and We were named "the Dimensionals"  Our tables were decorated with vinyl records as our place mats and the "Record" on our table had "our" name on them.  We all had horned rimmed glasses to where, and Shelli wore her's too.  It was fun to meet new girls, I didn't know any of them at my table and we had  four of the eight were "rising Stars" this year.  Which it is always a pleasure to hear about the new girls and how they do.  and LOVE their new SU business!
Even our Dinner meal had SU on it!  The attention to detail is amazing.  There was a pillow gift on our bed when I arrived with my full belly, I'll share that with you girls tomorrow.  Good night for now.. Stay tuned for more tomorrow..  We head to Kanab Utah bright and early to visit the Manufacturing plant where all the rubber is born!

LOVE the new Fabric

Q: I heard that Stampin' Up! is selling fabric now. I love fabric, can you tell me more?

A:  Yes, Stampin’ Up! has exclusive fabric which coordinates with our great stamps and accessories! It is being introduced in our Holiday Mini Catalog 2010. Our customers have been requesting this product for years and we are thrilled to see it finally arrive. Read on to find out the scoop about the Stampin’ Up! fabric and great ways to use it.

Fabric Basics
Stampin’ Up! recently introduced the new line of Designer Fabric that combines the beauty of Stampin’ Up! exclusive artwork and colors with high-quality 100% cotton fabric. There are currently two fabric sets available and each pack contains three coordinating designs. The Deck the Halls Designer Fabric (#121716) coordinates with the Vintage Christmas stamps, paper, and accessories in the Holiday Mini (pgs. 18-21). The Candy Cane Christmas Designer Fabric (#121715) coordinates with the huge variety of Candy Cane Christmas products in the Holiday Mini (pgs. 32-37). Each pack includes three extra-wide fat quarters. Quilters and fabric lovers will know the value in that. For those new to fabric, it means that each of the 28” x 18” fabric pieces are larger than standard size fat quarters you buy in the fabric store, making them an even better value. Don't forget about the stamping rewards for shopping and sharing with Stampin’ Up!

Why Fabric?
Fabric is great for quilting and many other traditional sewing projects, but it’s also a hot trend in crafting. One trend is to use the Big Shot Die-Cutting Machine (#113439) to die cut the fabric. For quilters, this is such a time-saver because they can quickly and accurately cut multiple layers of fabric. For crafters, the Big Shot offers variety for creating projects like decorated baby onsies, fabric purses, fabric-covered journals, and coasters with die-cut accents. Because the Big Shot does the detailed cutting work, crafters of any skill level can create a wide variety of projects with ease. Fabric also makes great accents and texture on cards, décor, and scrapbook pages! The

Next Step
In addition to fabric, Stampin’ Up! has included a variety of complementary products to make crafting with fabric even easier for you. Coordinating products like the beautiful Deck the Halls (#121002) and Candy Cane (#121718) Big Designer Buttons, Bigz XL Tasteful Trim die (#120893), 1/2" Seam Binding (#120992), and the Big Shot Fabric Adhesive (#122194). We offer the tools you need to create a multitude of projects, both traditional and unique, with fabric.

How to Get Started
Curious? My customers have been amazed at what they can create with the Designer Fabrics and coordinating supplies. An instructional Fabric Booklet is included in every package of Designer Fabric purchased from the 2010 Holiday Mini Catalog. It has instructions for making five projects shown below. This booklet is exclusive to the 2010 Holiday Mini Catalog. Let’s plan a fabric workshop where you can share this hot trend with your friends. Whether it’s fashion accessories, cards with fabric, décor items, or one of many other possibilities, you will be amazed at the versatility and fun of crafting with fabric. Contact me today and we’ll make sure you can get your hands on the fabric, plus you’ll have the chance to earn fantastic hostess benefits!

What can you do with the BIG SHOT?

That is what my Big Shot club is all about.  Learning fun things to do with your Big Shot.  The Cute Spooky House is from the milk carton die.  Added a roof and punch some bats from our new "bat Punch" and oh yeah what's a spooky house with out ghost.  These ghost are made from the owl punch.  Yep, It's the owls body upside down.
The "Green" coffee collar is an amazing quick gift to make for friends!  Pattern is from a "famous Coffee place"  I drew it out and then cut from felt.  The new Rick rack is the amazing die that is featured in our new Holiday Mini.  It's a must! HAVE.    I iron on the new "Fabric Aheasive" and there was no sewing expect for a button that completes the back side.  Since I was using the daisy #2 die for the Big Shot Card, I added one of them to a scrap I had left over, and I think it looks like an abstract sun rise!  Just perfect for your cup of Coffee or Tea in the early AM.
The card as I mentioned is from the Daisy #2 die also used the butterfly embosslet die and the back ground is one of our impressions plates to add some texture.
Can't wait to share these three projects with my Big Shot club tonight.
