Birthday Goodie Bags

Cohen's 6th Birthday is the 29th and I made these goodie bags for her guest that are coming to her party on Saturday.  It was fun gathering the "goodies" and then putting them in the large cello bags.  I put a piece of 6x6 Designer paper in the back and then folded a piece of 6x6 for the topper.  Cut the Daisies out using the Big Shot and whala done!  Fun times..

Reverse Masking

This is a technique called reverse Masking  It's so easy and really make a big statement.  Adds  dept without bulk.  This is another one I was playing with yesterday using the set Charming and the new color Cajun Craze with Crumb Cake.  I'm loving my new Color Coach!  It really helps get those creative juices flowing.  Let me know what you think.

Inspired from the new catalog

On Page 132 of the New Catalog there is a card that using the embossed resist technique.  At our Last Demo meeting Tabitha shared this technique with all of us and did the card in the catalog.  I had done this before but had not done it in a while.  It was inspiring so I decided to do it using the butterfly die along with the Scallop Circle #2 die and the new embossing folder, Vintage wallpaper.  I'm loving the colors Mellon Mambo, Temp Turquoise, along with the new color Daffodil Delight.  I'm hoping my girls in the Big Shot club will love this as much as I do!

Tool Box

How cute is this Tool box!  It is made with the Big Shot Die #2 (altered slightly)  There is two of them put together.  I've been wanting this tool set so when I had "Free" sets coming my way due to Sale-a-bration Sales I jumped right on that one!  This is one of the projects that the Big Shot Club will be making this month.  I think it would make a great way to present a Home Depot Gift card!

Adding Texture

I am IN LOVE with the embossing folders you can use with your BIG SHOT!  What a great value!  Just $7.95 each.  One of the new ones in the catalog is the Vintage Wall Paper.  I played around with it by adding ink directly to the die and then running it through my Big Shot they others inked the folder with versa mark and ran them through.  Of course I had to try out the NEW Large scallop circle PUNCH.. If you have any questions about the rest of this post a comment and I'll get back to you
