Simply Adorned

this is the back of my Simply Adorned charm Seen here it's the 1 1/2 x2 (116799) The biggest of the three sizes.  I have one of each size and love them all.  I went to a Knit Retreat this weekend so I made this one to wear.
Knitting is new to me and I had never been to a retreat and I was pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed it.  Knitting is an extention to creating and I'll post tomorrow one of the Treats we were given.    I keep getting asked when I'm going to do a class on these insert for the charms again.. Watch my calendar I will be planning this Class soon and have it posted
Stamp Set used there is the sweet set called "Hand Knit" that is on page 65 of the IBC.  It is a must have if you also knit or know of some one that does

Thank Ewe!

Look at the cute Thank Ewe!  we received from the retreat!  Kris Shanks is one of my new Knitting friends and she is a new Stamper!  This set Pun Fun has this cute sheep and It is also one of those sets that has tons of uses! She colored the heart with her new set of Markers!

In addition to the Pun Fun set she use the set that is designed to go with the Milk Carton die that you use with your Big Shot called "Got Treats" on page 55 of the IBC.
This turned out so cute and it got a big Awwwwww from the crowd.  Thanks Kris for taking the time to make these for all of us.. OH Yeah  they were filled with jelly beans!  YUM

Lillie

Thought it might be time for a Lillie Update.  This is Lillie now 8 months old.  We were all packed up to go to the park.  She is getting to be such a Big Girl!  She is so sweet, but still on the "wild" puppy side.  Lillie loves when the stampers come to the house!  She thinks they are here just to see her!

same card different occasions

As you have seen on my blog the base for this card was a 3x3 note that was a make and take from a SU regional.  I had been sharing this at my workshop.  The flowers are in the mini catalog and are very vanilla to start.  You can die them to be any color you want!  So I had some card stock cut and Darrell needed a sympathy card so I made it in to that and then I decided to make several different occasional cards with the same beginning.

I also used different embossing folders to get a different look too.  This is really a easy card and by coloring the stamp with your Markers you get a water color "artsy" look.  I like that feeling of "artsy" Hope you'll take time to relax and just stamp!  There is power in that!

A Chance to Play

Yesterday I had a chance to just Play in my Stamproom.. I wasn't designing for any class or prepping anything so I just started stamping.  If you know me at all I loved Paperdolls as a child and so I started dressing these girls.

This is how it all turned out.  Once it was made I cut card stock to make several more.  This is the "Sew Suite" stamp set from the Mini Catalog along with the "You're a gem" for the sediment  Stamped the tape measure on the seam binding and it looked so real.  Not an original idea.. Saw it done on Stampers Showcase ( a great perk in being a SU Demo)

An Easter Carrot

The petal cone die in the occasions mini catalog is super fun!  There are so many thing you can use it for.  Like a "Carrot"   This Carrot is filled with chocolate.  Yummy.  I love how the half scallop will cover the front round part and also nestle the back to give it this look.  These will make quick easy Easter treats to share with your friends.

Creating sure is messy!

You have seen this but this one is mine.  I coppied it from a swap and so I thought I'd show you my version.. YEP looks just like the other one.  Hope the girls like making this one.  I have punched out all the circles for them so they just have to have fun and put them together
Why is creating SOOOOO Messy?  There was no spot to stamp!  So before I started cutting cardstock for Card Club I had to clean this MESS up!  Geeze... I'll send out a cleaned up view..
This set is one of the FREE ones you can get with your $50 purchase.  Engraved Greetings.  It's a set of two.  The girls can choose which version they want to make.  Don't know why I waited so long to get this set....OH yeah  probably cause I got it for FREE.  Look real hard and you will see the little pearls I put at the top and bottom of the image.

THis ones shows off four of our embossing folders.  It also showcases another Set Punch a bunch that you can get during Sale-a-bration.  I pulled out an oldie but goodie for the bottom.  Love the Concord Crush and Pear Pizzazz together, added the pear pizzazz seambinding ribbon a little linen thread and what a cute card.  Thanks for stopping by, and If I can help you with any projects let me know.  (and if you want to come over and help me clean up that mess feel free)

More to share

These somehow were uploaded not in order, but I'm sure you can figure out which ones are the same but different views.  If you picked the one on the top and the one on the bottom you are correct....lol.  I love this 3x3 card that was one of the make and takes the girls did at the Branson Regional.  The stamp was inked with the markers and stamped twice but one at a lower level to create this look.   The flower is one of our rosette that was inked with a marker and then moved the color around with the aqua painter..  Very Pretty!
Now this middle one is just stunning in the color combo!  Gina Demo from Paducah bought this to share.  She did mention that the black ribbon has retired but any black ribbon would make this POP.  She shared that the Poppy Parade, Daffodil delight, and Celery is one of her Favorite color combo's.  I was in a store the other day and all the new spring line for out door furniture and such was this very combo!  It is just stunning.

Following on with the swaps that were shared with me From Branson.  I love this look!  Love how the 5 petal punch flower looks when you use SU's amazing two ply cardstock and separate it to get this suede look.

Friends and Fun

Each Month I hold an event at my home, "Stamp Camp"  There are 6 projects and good conversation and yummy snacks, and Valet Parking!  Thought I'd post some of the girls that attend and the awesome job my Husband Darrell does parking the cars!  It's quite an art he has going that no matter what time you come or when you leave you can get in and out with no worries!
These two samples below are two more of the swaps that were shared from the Branson Mo Regional.  I love how this one with the circles became inlayed.  The Circles that were punched from our amazing punches were glued on and then ran through the big shot using the embossing folders to create this amazing background.  Also love the color combo here.. Who would have thought that Gray, celery, pumpkin and grape would look so good together..  Another one I'll be using to share with my girls at my classes

Nice job on the St Patricks day card.(if this was your swap and you see it here please let me know so I can give credit where credit is due!  We used this one at camp but not this cards so here's another use of that stamp.
