More Info on "The Basic"

I have put a post out about the new online class you can purchase from Stampin' Up! on the Basic!  Since then there have been a few questions... Here's what I've found out

Q: Why would someone pay for our Online Class when there are so many technique videos available for free on websites such as You Tube?

A: This online class is much more than a card idea or a technique video. The 34 projects are simple, creative, and cute! The material included is a great resource that gives comprehensive project details in one place. No searching all over the Internet for all of the different topics being covered.
This class is being offered as a product (item 133385) $14.95
It is an exceptional value and gives you an opportunity to be creative-and you can participate at their own pace.
Q: Are supplies included or purchased separately?

A: Supplies are not included. Supply lists are included on the PDFs with each project. Since this class is a download, there is no shipping costs associated with this purchase. However, if other Stampin' Up! products are added to the order, shipping costs will be incurred.
Q: How will I "receive" the class? Is it mailed to me?
A: Once the class is purchased, you will log into their online account and access the download the same way they would when ordering a digital download for My Digital Studio. The difference is that the file will be a PDF and will open in their default PDF reader rather than MDS.

PC Instructions:
The files will be downloaded as archive files that you can then extract and save on your computer. When you click on the download link, an extraction program will automatically launch. Choose the location where you would like to save the files (be sure to note where you save them). Follow the prompts on the extraction program, and then navigate to the location where you saved the files. Click on the file and open.
Mac Instructions:
When you click on the download link, the file will be mounted as a drive. Once it is mounted, open the drive and drag and drop the files to the location of your choice on your hard drive. The files can then be opened.

Queen for a Day!

Last Saturday we had our Team Camp Share here at the house.  Each team member received this decorated tin bucket!  The stamp set YOU RULE on page 8 of the Spring Catalog was the start of my theme.  Inside the bucket was Stampin' Up! product!  incorporated the  Paper Doilies, which I sponged with ink.  Also the new honkin Rhinestones!  This one is Basic Gray stamped on Pink Pirouette Card Stock.
This  one I added some Dazzeling Diamonds Glitter
Another gift each one received was this swatch book of our Textured embossing folders that you use in the Big Shot.  This way at a glance you can see and feel the texture.  Easy to add on new ones as they come out.
