Easter Eggs

Many of you have responded about the BEAUTIFUL Easter Eggs that Rachel did. Here is some more information.

Using our reinkers to die the eggs

Mix about a teaspoon of vinegar per half cup of water with your favorite Stampin' Up! Reinker. Use 5-10 drops of reinker depending on your color choice and desired look. Want it darker.. add more lighter add less.

She also used rub-on's

Her directions were Apply rub-ons directly to your eggs and then carefully smooth the rub on with your finger.

Sticky Pages, Sticky Cuts and Sticky Strips

It's easy to create one of a kind Easter eggs with your big shot assorted dies and sticky pages. For even faster decorating, use the pre cut sticky cuts. Sticky Strip is also great for straight lines and patterns. Simply apply one side of the adhesive to the egg and remove the red backing when you are ready to roll the egg in glitter. Use your finger to firmly press the glitter onto the sticky areas to be sure they are well covered. It may also be helpful to rub your embossing buddy on the egg before starting and to use a small brush (like a soft paint brush) to remove the excess glitter when finished.

Rachel also used Glue Dots to create polka-dot eggs by applying glue dots or mini glue dots to your egg. Dip the glue dots in assorted glitter to achieve the desired look. use your finger to firmly press the glitter onto the sticky area.

One more amazing "trick" Rachel did was using embossing powders. Rub your egg with the embossing buddy. then Stamp the image onto your egg using versa Mark and cover the stamped image with embossing powder. Finally, hold your egg with kitchen tongs and heat with the heat tool. She blew the inside of her eggs out so that she could store and use them again year after year!

Chubby Bird

This was created by Kimberly Van Diepen. While in Campaign IL this weekend at the Spring in to Stamping conference that Meg Loven and Kim Peck put on, I was the Speaker. Kim Made these as a gift for those of us that were a part of the conference. I was so excited to receive this. This Chubby bird is chip board and is available in the Occasion's mini catalog for $4.95!! There are so many ways you can decorate these. I'll have it at Camp this weekend for all of you to see!

New Club Starting in May!

Would you like to be a part of a Monthly Club?

Here’s how they work.

Once a month you’ll come to a class my house. You will do Three projects. This club will be featuring projects that can be done with the Big Shot! Ways to make gift ideas and variety other projects. If you don’t have a big shot you can still come and learn how to use it and who knows you could earn it for free, when it is your month as the hostess. We will incorporate the punches as I think of the big shot as a BIG Punch machine! We will rotate the hostess benefits each month and depending on the sales each month you will earn Stampin' Up! goodies.

There is a minimum order each month of $35. You will agree to be a part of the club for 12 months starting May 13^th. It’s a great way to have “Me” time each month, be able to get Stampin' Up! products and learn how to use them. Several have already signed up but there are open spots. Tell a friend and carpool over and have a fun night out. If you are interested I’ll send you more information!

Meet Rachel, Fun with Easter eggs

Meet Rachel, She was one of the Demonstrator in Campaign Il this weekend at the Spring in to action gathering. She showed how to use Stampin' Up reinkers and color Easter eggs along with using TONS of SU products to make these beautiful eggs. The eggs are hand blown so that you can save them for each year. She did a great job and was generous enough to share all the details. Let me know if you'd like more info.

Club Projects

These are a couple of the club projects from Thursday night. Isn't this carrot so cute! It's made with the Scallop Die for the Big Shot and the scallop oval punch.. One is with the bunny punch one with out!

Just Card Club Birthday

This is number two of three that we did at the Just Cards club. This was inspired by Terri Gaines. A swap I received from her at leadership. Her version opened differently. This is the YUMMY Specialty paper from the Mini catalog, complete with it's own glitter! "Sending Love" It is only available until the end of March so if you don't have a pack.. Enjoy! LIFE

This is one of the cards we did at our "Just Cards Club" It is really easy and has so much dimension with out too many layers. Stamp Sets used are Upsy Daisy and Enjoy. Colors used Tempt Turquoise and Black Stazon.

Hostess Gift

This is the gift I made for my Hostess. I ran chipboard through Big Shot with the top note die and then some yummy Designer paper from the Sweet pea pack. Monogram (G) is chipboard and same DSPaper using the Serif Alphabet die. Used regular copy paper ran it through used my crop -a-dile to poke hole and set jumbo eyelet. Now had to have a matching beaded pen! Use a scrap of same DSPaper and our Clear Micro Beads, heat tool and walah! Put it in one of our large cello bags tie on the ribbon and I'm ready! I love making these!
