Card from Technique club

I have seen these flowers out there and gave it a try at making and teaching them at Technique Club last night. They are a tad time consuming but I think worth the effort when they are done. I'm sure with more practice I will make better ones. They start with a 1 x 12 ' strip of designer you'll need (2) of them. Using a border punch ( I used the eyelet one) punch the whole 12" of each one. I then punched a 1 3/8 circle from card-stock and placed Sticky Strip or our Sticky Sheets work great too. Run your strips of punched designer paper ( DS paper works best cause it is thinner than card-stock) through your crimper 2-3 times to break the fibers and to make it easier to work with. You can also spritz it with water after you have crimped it to make it more pliable too. Staring on the outside of your circle covered with sticky pleat and adhere it making peats about 1/4 inch. Work your way around until they meet. Do the same with the second one in the center of the first one. (Hope you are following along) I added more sticky to the center before starting on the second one so that it would behave and stay where I wanted it. Remember YOU are the boss! I poke a hole using my mat pack and paper piercer and added the button and applied it to the card using our pop up glue dots! Try one.. Send me your pics and I'll post them here! Have fun!
