Not always Red

My oldest son, Dustin who is a singer/songwriter/producer in Nashville wrote a song a while back and part of the lyrics were "Don't color the sky blue, Don't color the trees green, paint them black if you want to"  It's a great song and I decided not to make my Valentine red!  I did it Blue!  We had a demo meeting right after before Christmas and I wanted to share some of the new goodies in the Occasions mini but I just couldn't do anymore RED... I love how this turned out!  So feel free to "paint it black if you want to"

DO you have the right Tools?

Most of Crafting is having the right tools.  A good pair of Paper scissors and a bone folder are my top two.  Stampin' Up!'s paper snips are the best!  These samll, thin-bladed scissors provide expert cutting and even the tiniest of areas, and the precision-ground tips allow you to cut to the end of the blade  103579 Just $9.95  The Bone folder is used to score paper and to make crisp folds 102300 for just $6.95

Probably the next most used tool I have is the Mat pack with tour paper-piercing tool.  Use the paper-piercing tool to accent any crafting project.  Comes with reusable storage tube and protective cap.  116631 Just $3.50  The Mat pack use this with the paper piercing pad and paper piercing template to protect your workspace and you use the paper piecing too.  105826 $9.95
These Craft and Rubber Scissors are one of my go to's when crafting.  Use these sharp, short bladed crafting scissors to cut twine, thread, rubber, wood sheets, wire and anything you don't want to use your paper snips for!  103179 $19.95
Stay tuned for more tools you need to be a great crafter.

More from our Demo Gift Exchange

This wreath was made by Teresa Carroll.  It is just beautiful.. You have to touch it to see if it is real.  Made with our SU card stock and oval and oval scallop punches.  Love how the tips were sponges with our white craft ink.

Great Job Teresa, I'll be trying one of these too.
