Good for the Soul!

Many of you have been in my home and have seen this.  I love doing things like this.  Stampin' Up! makes it so easy to add accessories.  The Create banner was made with the big shot and the Petal Cone Die   Flowers were made with punches and buttons and place in old spools that are wrapped with pieces of extra ribbon and material.  Take time to create!  It is good for the soul!

Big Flower

When I was in St Louis last weekend for the Stampin' Up! Regionals, Donna Griffin had a flower on something like this one.  I came home and made this!  Using the Floral Frames Framelits
# 127012
I used the First Edition Specialty Paper.  Patterns reminiscent of old encyclopedia pages.  Light weight paper 24 12x12  double sided designs!   4 each of 6 double-sided designs.  Acid-and lignin-free. I did four layers of the flowers.
#121878  Found on page 162

Chalkboard Technique

Chalk Board Card Stamp Set: Carry On (Page 203) Hostess set, And Flowering Flourishes (Page 121)
Card Stock: Basic Black, Mellon Mambo, And Basic Gray Ink: White Craft Ink
Accessories: Big Shot, Ovals Collection Framaelit Dies (page 4 Spring Catalog) Embossing buddy, Water Color Pencils (Page 157) Stampin dimensionals,
Technique: Chalk Board, the embossing buddy is used to muddy up the black card stock to look like an erased black board. Pencils are used (white) for doodling. What I have learned is that a true chalkboard technique includes doodling and outlining stamped images. This technique is very addictive!
