Accessories:  Big Shot, Bitty Banners Framelits(New, page 191) 1” Circle Punch, Designer Printed Brads (Page 174) Stampin Dimensionals, Mat Pack and Paper Piercer

 Tip: Punch flower with circle punch and pierce whole in the middle and apply brad, Add Stampin Dimensional on the back of brad and then apply to the large flower.

Pin Wheel Card

Stamp Set:  Fabulous Phrases (page 133)

Card Stock:  Whisper White

DSP: Subtles Collection Paper Stack (Page 162)

Ink:  Basic Black

Accessories:  Simply Score & Diagonal Plate, Big Shot, Fancy Fan Folder (New)(Page 189) Neutrals Designer Buttons, Baker’s Twine Lucky Limeade, Stampin Dimensionals, Mini Glue Dots, Tombo Glue & Paper snips

Instructions:  For Pin Wheel, any Square size will work.  This one is 2x2.  Score from corner to corner on all sides.  Cut with paper snips to center on all score lines leaving about smidge in the middle.  Using Tombo Glue apply to tip and fold toward the center.  Do this on all sides.  

Altered Cardstock Flower Card

Card Stock: 2012-2014 In Colors, Primrose Petals, and Gumball Green, Summer Starfruit & Whisper White

Ink:  Summer Starfruit & Primrose Petals

Accessories:  Big Shot, Fancy Fan Folder (New)(Page 189) Oval Accent Bigz Clear Die (new, Page 192) 3/8 stitched Satin Ribbon Gumball Green (New) Scallop Circle Punch, 1 ¾ Circle Punch (For Leaves), Stampin Dimensionals, Tombo Glue,  Stampin’ Dimensionals, Mini Glue Dots,  Paper Piercer & Heat Tool

Instructions for Flower & Leaves:  Punch 6 scallops Circles.  Wet them using water or rubbing alcohol ( I prefer Rubbing Alcohol because it dries faster) Scrunch and pleated with hands until you have a wet ball.  Using Heat Tool Dry the flowers until they are dry and hard.  Using the flat end of the paper Piercer mash in the middle to form a flat bottom.  Apply a small amount of Tombo Glue and layer each flower.  Keeping the last one (on top) scrunched small.  Apply to card using the tombo glue  Leaves are made by  first punching a circle and then re-entering it to punch to punch out two leaves. Mist them with the alcohol,  Fold in half and scrunch up, heat set until dry and hard, apply with mini glue dots.

A Year in a Life

Scrap Book Club

This Club will run for 4 months.  Each month we will do 3 double pages in 8x8 format.  At the end of the club you will have a full album of a Year in a life.

This class is limited to 12.  Each class fee is $15 OR a $35 order placed the night of the class.  Prior to your first Class, You will preorder your 8x8 Album and it will include the amount of page protectors that you will need to complete the 12-month album, with a title page and a closing page.  When registering for the class you will need to include $30 to cover the cost of your album and additional page protectors.  Your choices are Early Espresso or Crumb Cake.  Theses beautiful linen ring albums include a metal frame on the spine to label your scrapbook. See page 169 of the new Annual Catalog.

This is something I have wanted to do this class for some time now. This is a perfect time with the new albums and they will be completed by November.  This would make a great gift.

Tuesday August 7^th @6pm

Tuesday October 9^th @6pm

Tuesday November 6^th @6pm

To register email me that you want to attend all four months and mail me your check for $30 to hold your spot by Tuesday July 17^th. Remember to include which color album you want.

All Supplies are included expect your adhesive.  I do encourage the use of Snail for these books.

New Firm Foam Ink Pads!

Stampin' Up! has made a significant change to their ink pads to make your stamping experience even better!

  The new pads will be available in all Stampin' Up! Colors (including the new In Colors) on June 1 (Noon MST).

I have had a chance to experiment with the new firm foam pads for the past couple weeks.  I found that there's a short learning curve.  My former "Tap,Tap, Tap, and some times  swivel, swivel,Tap"  technique will get too much ink on the stamp using the NEW pads.  Once I mastered the lighter touch, this new style earned a big approval from me!

REMEMBER:  Orders from the new catalog (including on-line orders) can be placed beginning at NOON MST on June 1.

I know I'm behind in posting.  We have been on the go from morning til late night.  We leave Disney tomorrow and head to the "Heller's" home for a couple of days.  Get to See Linda's Stamp Room! and we are going to stamp together!  This is the cute cute SU backpack we received as one of our pillow gifts.  I promise more to come!
