This is the outside of a gift card holder that was designed by Ginny Reed.  She and my other BFF Elizabeth encosed a gift card for the "Big Sis"  Cohen.  I just thought this was adorable and wanted to share with you.  

Welcome Drake Ellison

 Wanted to share with you all my New Grandson, Drake Ellison.  He came in this world 7-7-11 weighing in at 11 lbs 1 oz!!  He is just perfect.  So thankful for this precious Gift.

This is Cohen, she is the BIG Sister.  She is in LOVE.  Stay tuned I'll be stamping some baby stuff to share with you..  Also have all my Camp projects to share with you too.

New Stamp Set

This stamp set caught my eye right away in the new catalog.  "My Friend" is a set of 5 and has a corrdinating Jumbo Wheel.  I chose Tangerine Tango, and Old olive along with Crumb cake.  Straight from the "Color Coach".. My best investment!  

New Catalog

Friday July 1st was my Open house/New catalog release!  Thanks to all that came out to get their new catalog and joined in the fun.  We did a scavenger hunt through the new catalog and drew for a $25 gift certificate.  Mari Ward was our winner!  Congratulation Mari!!  This is the make and take every one did.  Using the new Petite Pennant Builder punch and the coordinates with the stamp set "Pennant Parade" stamp set.  We used the NEW IN Colors.
Thanks again for all that came out to help me celebrate the beginning of another SU Year!

Ice Cream, Popsicle, and Snow Cones

Ice Cream, Popsicles and Snow Cones!  Wow and that says Summer and Treats, Sweet Treats!  This set "Sunny Fun" from the Mini is fun to work with.  This is a card for card class tonight.  A Suggestions is to add some crystal effects to this and what them come alive!  Colors used are Pear Pizazz, Peach Parfait and Concord Crush!  Another combo straight off the color Coach!  I'm telling you if you don't have this tool, Get you one.  Order now!  It will change the way you make cards and scrapbook pages.  Thanks for Stopping by.  Stamp Something TODAY!

Butterflies and Flowers, My fav!

 Another card for Card Class coming up.  "Flower Fest"  and "Happy Greetings" Stamp Sets  are  from the Summer Mini Catalog.  Another Basic Gray, Old Olive and Mellon Mambo, combo.  Straight from the color Coach!  Do you have this tool?  This is a must for card making and scrapbooking.  I would have never put these colors together if it wasn't for the Color Coach.  One thing I love about the set Flower Fest is that we have punches for almost every image in this set!  One thing I will do different, and advise the girls to do when they make it is to stamp the greeting in basic Gray instead of the old olive... Remember the "rule" to repeat your colors at least twice on your card.  This adds balance to your project.

The Open Sea

 This is a design for two card classes I have coming up Saturday and Monday.  I love how it turn out.  It's another Z fold card.. I'm really into them at this time..  I used the "The Open Sea" stamp set from the Summer Mini, along with the designer Paper Nautical Expedition.  I Chose the rest of the colors based on the colors from the DSP.  Cherry Cobbler, Early Expresso and Crumb Cake. I punched the globe out with the 1 3/4 circle punch.  Had to add the baker's twine that you can also find in the mini.  You got to have all the colors at just $2.95 each why not!  Need Supplies, Email me

Chalk Board or Black Magic

Tips and  Technique club made this.  

First you will ink the image in White Craft Ink (This is a pigment ink) it is slow to dry.  You will stamp this on black or another Dark colored Card stock.  While it is still damp you will apply the pastels by daubing them on the damp image It’s ok for it to look a little messy.  Once you have it the way you want it, take the swifter cloth and wipe off any excess chalk.
