Robin's have landed here
Looking outside my window two mornings ago there were what seemed like 100's of Robins in our yard. It was like they all landed here. It has been wet here so they were so happy pulling those worms out. This card is inspired from that. This is our bird punch and by masking I sponged ink on to the what started as a white bird. Added a beak with pumpkin pie marker and oh yeah don't for get the eye with early espresso marker. Popped up the wing with the stampin Dimensionals and also his/her body on to the cardstock with more dimensionals... Make sure you always have plenty of dimensionals on hand! The outside frame is the duel square scallop die for the big shot. Enjoy SPRING

Simply Adorned
this is the back of my Simply Adorned charm Seen here it's the 1 1/2 x2 (116799) The biggest of the three sizes. I have one of each size and love them all. I went to a Knit Retreat this weekend so I made this one to wear.
Knitting is new to me and I had never been to a retreat and I was pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed it. Knitting is an extention to creating and I'll post tomorrow one of the Treats we were given. I keep getting asked when I'm going to do a class on these insert for the charms again.. Watch my calendar I will be planning this Class soon and have it posted
Stamp Set used there is the sweet set called "Hand Knit" that is on page 65 of the IBC. It is a must have if you also knit or know of some one that does

same card different occasions
As you have seen on my blog the base for this card was a 3x3 note that was a make and take from a SU regional. I had been sharing this at my workshop. The flowers are in the mini catalog and are very vanilla to start. You can die them to be any color you want! So I had some card stock cut and Darrell needed a sympathy card so I made it in to that and then I decided to make several different occasional cards with the same beginning.
I also used different embossing folders to get a different look too. This is really a easy card and by coloring the stamp with your Markers you get a water color "artsy" look. I like that feeling of "artsy" Hope you'll take time to relax and just stamp! There is power in that!
A Chance to Play
Yesterday I had a chance to just Play in my Stamproom.. I wasn't designing for any class or prepping anything so I just started stamping. If you know me at all I loved Paperdolls as a child and so I started dressing these girls.
This is how it all turned out. Once it was made I cut card stock to make several more. This is the "Sew Suite" stamp set from the Mini Catalog along with the "You're a gem" for the sediment Stamped the tape measure on the seam binding and it looked so real. Not an original idea.. Saw it done on Stampers Showcase ( a great perk in being a SU Demo)
