St. George Utah

I arrived finally in St. George Utah, after a drive early this morning to St. Louis to catch my plane and we landed in Las Vegas, and then a 2 hour bus ride to Southern Utah. But all the travel was well worth it. We have the Whole hotel! Yep just SU demo's! This is the sign that greeted us! And this was the sign on my hotel room which I have all to myself.. I'll send you more info tomorrow... So stay tuned

Lola gets a face lift

This is my MacBook Lola. I applied the Upsy Daisies Vinyl in Pretty in Pink. I applied it to the front of my MacBook! It looks so cool.. I just love it. If you have not tried any of our vinyl art they are so much fun... I have them everywhere.

Wednesday I leave home to fly to St. George Utah for the Stampin' Up! Founder's retreat. What is Founder's? Each year based on Sales, recruiting and promotions the top 100 Demonstrators are invited all expences paid to join Shelli Gardner for a 5 day retreat. I was #35 this year. There are approx 50,000 demonstrators in the US and Canada. We are treated like we are queens and get to hang out, stamp, and relax with other Stampers. I want to Thank all of you that have been so loyal to me as friends and customers. This is my 4th Founder's trip. I wouldn't be going if it wasn't for all of you falling in love with Stampin' Up's! products and joining me month after month for stamping events. I LOVE my job. I think it's great that I get paid to Stamp! I'll be bringing back new ideas about classes and techniques.. I also am in on a swap so I'll have new ideas for all of you. Stay tuned and I'll post some of our fun times here on the blog. I'll have Lola ( my MacBook) with me so check in each day!

My first Build a Bear!

Trick or Treat! My Club members on Thursday got to make this cute trick or treat build a bear! It's attached to a small paper bag with Treats inside! This was so fun to make..
The pumpkin die also makes a witch suit.. Stay tuned to my Calendar for a build a bear Class up and coming!

Shared Swap from SU's Regional

Just returned home from SU's Regional event! It was so fun. there were 11 of us girls from this area there and a total of over 500 that attended on Saturday. One of the fun parts is swapping ideas with all the girls there.. This was a swap that my friend Barb received! Isn't he just the cutest! He hold a chocolate nugget! Another great use of the Stampin' Up! punches! and cardstock! Don't know who the creator was but if she's see's this let me know I'd love to give credit where credit is due.

Sweet Treat Cups

The new Sweet Treat cups that are available in the new Holiday mini (12 for $2.95) are just too fun! This is a treat we made at Club. I've seen so many cute ideas! I want to make them all!
Get you some and see what you come up with.. This is also uses a set called Sweet Centers which is a set that is made for these cute cups.

Spinner Card

The build a bears are here! Now available in the new Mini Catalog! Along with the dies for the Big Shot there are also the cutest stampset! I saw a version of this card on this blog http://dawnsstampingthoughts.typepad.com/dawns_stampin_studio/

Faux Dry embossing#1

My Friend and fellow demonstrator Tabby encouraged me to try this faux Dry embossing technique.. I have been asked to be a presenter at the Cincinnati Ohio SU Regional and need to share a WOW! I think this is a WOW.. SO I've been playing with it to see if this is what I'll share. By using our new Butterfly punch, Punching the same color butterflies as the card front you can create the illusion of Faux dry embossing. Of course you can use the butterfly punch to punch out the butterfly in the "Flight of the butterfly" stampset! Love your comment.. Will post more samples tomorrow of other Faux Dry embossing.
